Trivia & History

Originally, this tour was booked through June 10, 2001.  However, once LIVENT declared bankruptcy on November 19, 1998, the show's future was suddenly unclear.  The cast was told that the show was being closed immediately while they attempted to find a solution.  Ultimately, PACE Theatrical stepped in and assumed control so that the final two planned stops (Seattle and Boston) could be completed.  After Boston they began the process of scaling the show down to be more tourable.
