Dorothy Lamour sued her agent over his percentage. The reason for the suit was that it when she signed to do the tour, it was with the understanding that it would be single-week and split-week (4 in one city, 4 in another close-by city) tour.  Instead, it was mostly single-night stops.  As a result, Actor's Equity made it a requirement for all aspects of touring to be clearly stated in all contracts.
