Trivia & History

Five months into the run, the show closed down for a summer hiatus, which was not an especially unusual thing to do at the time. It re-opened with some cast changes and some changes to the score, but it ran for only three weeks when it re-opened after Labor Day. There had also been changes to the score before the summer hiatus.
