Synopsis

Set in London on the eve of King George V’s coronation in 1911, a chorus girl inadvertently attracts the attention of a visiting prince regent after a performance. Invited to dine with him, she navigates an evening filled with interruptions from royal family, political tensions, and cultural faux pas. Mistaken identities, musical numbers, and the collision of royalty with theatrical life create both comedic and heartfelt moments. As royal responsibilities and spontaneous attraction collide, the chorus girl unexpectedly becomes part of high society, her ordinary background contrasting with regal formality. Through missteps and well-timed humor, she finds herself embraced—however briefly—by a world she never imagined, encapsulating a fleeting night of enchantment in the spotlight of history.
