This song was heard on the demo recording sung by Noël Coward, which was eventually released on record and later on CD. It has the same verse as ”Lonely,” which was in the show when it was produced, but thereafter is sufficiently different that Barry Day, editor of the book Noël Coward: The Complete Lyrics, regarded it as a separate song. 

Day incorrectly states that ”Lonely” was also ultimately cut from the show.
