Producer Cameron Mackintosh extended the run by one performance which was broadcast live to cinemas around the UK and Ireland. It was broadcast in North America beginning on December 8.
Reopened at the Sondheim Theatre on December 5, 2020. It was scheduled to run through February 28, 2021 but it closed early on December 15 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
