Trivia & History

Whoever put togeether the program's list of musical numbers seems to have had an aversion to using the definite article twice in the listing for a musical number. So the numbers performed by the company are sometimes listed as being performed by "The Company" and at other times are listed as being performed by "Company," depending on whether the definite article is or is not in the song's title. For example, "A Poultry Tale of Folk Down on the Farm" and "Look at Him" are listed as being performed by "The Company," while "The Elegy" and "The Blizzard" are listed as being performed by "Company." We have followed this funny choice in our transcription of the list.
