One of three musical revivals produced as part of the 1959 Hudson Celebration (aka The Hudson-Champlain Celebration), which commemorated the 350th anniversary of Henry Hudson's discovery of the Hudson River. The venue listed in Theatre World for these productions was Theatre-in-the-Park, which seems to have been a theatre-in-the-round performance space set up in Central Park's Wollman Rink.
The other two productions presented as part of the Celebration were Carmen Jones and Can-Can.
