His roles at the Met included Tamino in The Magic Flute, Lohengrin, Grigory in Boris Godunov, Parsifal, Pinkerton in Madama Butterfly, Matteo in Arabella, Rodolfo in La Bohème, and both Eisenstein and Alfred in Die Fledermaus.
