In a story similar to The Scarlet Pimpernel, The Red Shadow and his men are Robin-Hooding against the French who are taking over Morocco.  When The Red Shadow's true love follows her fiancée to Morroco, he decides he must win her over.

The original production opened out of town under the title Lady Fair.
