Adapted from the works of Lewis Carroll
A contemporary black version of Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass.
Vinnette Carroll began working on the show in 1962 at the Actors Studio. She continued to work on it at the Urban Arts Corps where she met Anita McShane, the managing director of the company. McShane would go on to produce the original production in association with Mike Nichols and Lewis Allen.
