Trivia & History
For the cast recording, some enhancements were made to the presentation of the music.
In the theatre, the band was comprised of two pianists and a drummer. For the recording, Jonathan Tunick created an orchestration for 16 players.
In addition, Hal Linden and Adrienne Angel were hired for the recording session to add two more voices in the group numbers. They were not credited.
"Singapore Sue," although in the second act of the musical, was moved to Side A of the LP recording, presumambly because of space limitations. This was corrected on the CD release, where it was placed between "Raining in My Heart" and "There's Something About You."
