An opening in April 1967 had been announced, with rehearsals to start in February, but the production never happened.
Vivien Leigh was to have played a divorcée who falls in love with an Irish diplomat. We have not come across any mentions of production staff or cast members other than Leigh. Leigh would die on July 8, 1967, but the cancelation seems not to have had anything to do with Leigh's health. In late May 1967, it was announced that she would star with Michael Redgrave in Edward Albee's A Delicate Balance in London that August.
