Trivia & History
The production recieved a lot of interesting attention from AEA, as found in these articles on Equity's website and Backstage.com. This was the second major national tour to go out Non-Equity (the tour of the 2000 revival of The Music Man was the first), and AEA was worried that members would try and join the Non-Equity tour under false/changed names. Interestingly, this did happen with Jennifer Paz, the alternate Kim. She left the union to take the role on tour, however was later denied re-admittance to the union, as noted in the LA Times.
