This tour, along with the 1950 studio cast recording of the score, inspired the Broadway revival that was produced the following year. For the Broadway revival, Bob Fosse was deemed insufficiently well known but was hired to understudy Harold Lang. Carol Bruce also did not star in the Broadway revival. Instead, Vivienne Segal of the original production reprised her role of Vera Simpson, but Ms. Bruce did play the post-Broadway tour of that production and also the London edition of the production.

In 1961, Fosse and Bruce would repeat their roles in a revival of the show at New York's City Center.

As on many stock tours of the period, a core group of performers was constant, but some roles (including Mike Spears) were cast locally from the resident company at each theatre.

It seems that this production also played on the Kenley Circuit but we have no specific information on dates and venues. It may also be that much of the supporting cast was not the same.
