Included cast members from the normal London production, the 25th Anniversary production at the Barbican & members of the original London cast. Some of the alterations to the script and score from the 25th anniversary production were incorporated for this concert.
There were two encores at the evening performance. The first included Colm Wilkinson (the original Valjean), John Owen-Jones (current Valjean in the Barbican production), Simon Bowman (current Valjean in the London production) and Alfie Boe singing 'Bring Him Home'.
The second encore included original cast members Wilkinson, Michael Ball (Marius), Rebecca Caine (Cosette), Frances Ruffelle (Eponine), Roger Allam (Javert), Alun Armstrong (Thénardier) and Sue Jane Tanner (Mme. Thénardier) singing 'One Day More!'.
