Lost in the Stars

The production was scheduled for five performances in repertory in the 1958 New York City Opera season, a season that featured only American works. The production was so well received and so popular with audiences that the New York City Opera season was extended a week, during which Lost in the Stars was the only production performed (for seven additional performances beyond those that had originally been scheduled).

• May 6 through May 11 (Tuesday through Saturday evenings, matinees on Saturday and Sunday).
