Burnt and rebuilt in 1799 and 1806. The 1806 rebuild converted it to a theatre. In 1814 it became a circus again but that only lasted for two years. It reopened as a theatre in 1832. It burnt again in 1865 and was rebuilt. The building became a ciname in 1920. It was closed in 1924 and demolished ten years later.
