Some sources list this as "I Have to Get There in Seven Days Flat," a line that appears early in the song, but Sondheim calls this "The Race Through the Desert" in his collection Look, I Made a Hat, which includes lyrics he wrote for this show, and that's the title that also appears in various manuscripts for the show.
