This was replaced by “What Is a Man?” several months after the opening, using the same music but with a different lyric. The lyric was not included when The Complete Lyrics of Lorenz Hart, edited by Dorothy Hart and Robert Kimball, was first published in 1986, because at the time the lyric could not be found. By the time of the expanded edition, published in 1995, the lyric had been found by theatre historian Steven Suskin, and it was included. Some scholars believe the lyric was written by Richard Rodgers. In the expanded edition, the lyric appeared in an appendix labeled "Rediscovered Lyrics.”
The lyric for the verse is the same as in “What Is a Man?” but the refrain is completely different.
