The lives of experienced musical theatre performers-turned-waiters at a tawdry cabaret are explored. Fed up with endless nights waiting for their next break, they seize an empty stage. With nothing more than props from their backpacks and accompaniment from a classically trained concert pianist ?masquerading? as a busboy, they create a world of suppressed inner desires, romance and adventure, in three short one-acts.
