Synopsis

Inside Pinafore Pictures, a blustering studio chief, a headline‑seeking columnist, a savvy agent, a contract star, and a starry‑eyed writer spin through feuds, flirtations, and publicity stunts. Corporate edicts replace naval orders, but the targets remain class, privilege, and patronage. Schemes to advance careers and arrange marriages tangle until rivalries, romances, and contracts are cleverly unscrambled, restoring order with show‑must‑go‑on flourish and sparkling Sullivan tunes set to Kaufman’s Hollywood barbs.
