Based on the play The Philadelphia Story by Philip Barry and the 1956 film High Society.

Synopsis

On the eve of her Newport wedding, Tracy Lord plans to marry industrialist George Kittredge when her former husband, C.K. Dexter Haven, reappears. Tabloid reporter Mike Connor and photographer Liz Imbrie infiltrate the household to get a scoop, while Tracy’s kid sister Dinah stirs mischief. Champagne parties, jealousies, and a brewing scandal force Tracy to confront pride, class, and desire before choosing between safe respectability and the love that understands her best.
