The song "Heroes in the Fall" is usually credited to both Rodgers and Hart. In his autobiography, Musical Stages, however, Richard Rodgers states that he wrote both music and lyrics for this song.

The name of the college in Too Many Girls is Pottawatomie. George Abbott had had the nickname of "Pottawatomie Brown" when had played the role of "Joe Brown" in a play prior to his becoming a director.
