When a little girl falls gravely ill, her beloved Raggedy Ann springs to life. Teaming up with an eccentric band of toys, she embarks on a fantastical quest through magical realms to find a cure. Along the way, they encounter strange creatures, face daunting obstacles, and discover the strength of friendship. Through bravery, compassion, and determination, Raggedy Ann learns that love can heal in ways more powerful than she ever imagined.

After the world premiere, there was a limited run in Moscow in the fall of 1985. It was the first production in a cultural exchange program with the Soviet Union.
