Barbara Arden, an unsophisticated girl from the South, comes to the North to dance in the chorus of Poor Little Ritz Girl. She rents an apartment from an unscrupulous janitor, with embarrassing situations arising when the apartment's true owner, Billy Pembroke, returns.
