While many of the scenes of this revue had been used at the York Playhouse, the score was written for the 1964 New York World's Fair where it opened on 22 Apr 1964. (The show had also turned away 15,000 customers daily at the 1963 Seattle World's Fair.) A million dollar puppet show was the result.

Featuring the Sid and Marty Krofft puppets, the show used recordings of the voices of popular entertainers.
