Ex-spouses Ruddy and Peggy are in love with each other all over again, much to the chagrin of the soon-to-be-wife's parents, who try to thwart the reunion by hiring a detective to help get dirt on the husband (or, technically, ex-husband). Other potential mates for Ruddy and Peggy also complicate matters.
'Bright Lights' has the same music as 'Toodle Oo' (L: Schuyler Green) which, along with 'I'm So Busy', was probably intended for a show that was never produced.
'Look in His Eyes' is the same song as 'Look in Her Eyes' interpolated into LIEBER AUGUSTIN, 1913 (titled MISS CAPRICE on tour). The song in the earlier show had lyrics by M. E. Rourke, who, during HAVE A HEART, decided to adopt his pseudonym, Herbert Reynolds. The only changes in the song are pronouns and the lyricist's credit.
