Spring edition.
There was no fall edition in 1935 and the Cotton Club closed it's doors on February 6, 1936 to move to a new location on Broadway. There was no spring edition in 1936, the next being the fall edition. This was the first on Broadway but was known as the 27th edition. The program for the second edition on Broadway was marked as such but the sheet music for the songs still used the old numbering and was shown as the 28th edition. The numbering switch to Broadway edition numbering did not take place until the 3rd Broadway edition on both programs and sheet music.
