Based on the television play by S.J. Perelman

Aladdin, a plucky laundry boy, is roped in by the scheming sorcerer Abanazar to fetch a magic lamp from a hidden cave. Freed, the lamp’s genie showers Aladdin with riches that win him notice at court and the heart of Princess Jasmine. With the blunt, bustling Widow Twankey in his corner, Aladdin must outwit Abanazar, learn the cost of easy wishes, and choose love and integrity over wealth and power.
