The recording was recorded in stereo but issued on LP only in mono. The stereo tapes were finally used for the CD release on West End Angel in 1993.
The first U.S. release of the recording, which was issued in May 1971 on Monmouth-Evergreen, was in electronically reprocessed (fake) stereo, but this was not mentioned anywhere on the jacket or on the label.
The original LP issue changed the show order to place ”Serenade With Asides” directly after ”My Darling, My Darling,” and just before ”Make a Miracle.” In the show, ”Make a Miracle” followed ”My Darling, My Darling,” and ”Serenade With Asides” followed ”Make a Miracle.” This order was retained on the 1971 Monmouth-Evergreen U.S. issue.
On the 1993 West End Angel CD issue, the songs were put in show order. It is the CD order that we use in the track list on this page.
