This production was recorded in both stereo and mono during the dress rehearsal with microphones hidden in the set and props. In cases where the mono version recorded better than the stereo version, it was used instead of the stereo version. The tape is a mixture of both and uses the Living Strings selections for the Overture and Entr'acte (see Excerpts).While some numbers were rearranged, this production contained the same as the New York production except 'A Whistle Works' and 'There's Life in the Old Folks Yet' were cut.
