Trivia & History

Only five performers, apart from the conductor, are credited. Four of them — Polly James, Sven-Bertil Taube, Lewis Fiander, and Aubrey Woods — repeat the roles they played in the original production. The fifth, Gay Soper, sings two roles that were played by two actresses in the original production. Those roles are Baroness Lehzen, played in the original production by Silvia Beamish, and Lady Caro, played in the original production by Raewyn Blade.

Originally released on LP in a limited edition of 2,500 copies.
