For this recording, the show's entr'acte was recorded in place of the overture. On all issues of the recording that we know of, it has been placed as the first act and listed as the overture.
The 1998 CD reissue added a bonus track of the show's actual overture, from a record that Columbia issued in 1958 with the title Curtain Going Up. This was a collection of Broadway overtures conducted by Lehman Engel. That recording was issued on CD with the title Another Openin', Another Show, with two additional tracks (the Li'l Abner and Goldilocks overtures) taken from Columbia cast recordings conducted by Engel.
