Trivia & History

  • This audio has sometimes circulated with a date of Oct. 1, 1987, which would have been the third preview. This date is incorrect. The actual date is uncertain, but at the third preview, the show still contained the long version of "Second Midnight," not heard in this audio so this must be from later in previews. Also, the final reprise of "Children Will Listen" was not yet in the show, and in the final moments of the show it was revealed that the Narrator was the Baker's son. None of this is heard in this audio.
  • This recording features a weird hybrid of "Boom, Crunch!" and "The Last Midnight"
