Trivia & History

This show, like a few others of this era, had recording contract problems. RCA had the rights to the cast album but Ethel Merman was under contract to Decca who had their own plans for an album. The result was two albums, one with Ethel Merman and a studio cast, the other with the original cast and Dinah Shore singing the Ethel Merman role.
