Trivia & History

For this album the ending lyrics to "My Mother's Wedding Day" were altered as they were considered too risque in 1947. The lyric "It was a sight beyond compare, I ought to know for I was there" was replaced with "Until today the folks declare, it was a mess beyond compare".
