The cast list in the New York Times review lists Frances Melvon as Hortense, and Florence Fillmore as the Maid, but all other sources we've found list Fawn Conway and Viola Cain, respectively. We have followed those other sources.
Several sources list William T. Ford (Edmond) as W. T. Ford.
It was mentioned in the New York Times on September 14, 1912, that Elsie Ferguson would sail to New York on the Olympic on September — she had been spending the summer in Paris, according to the article — to appear in the title role of this production. We have not been able to find any information regarding why she did not end up playing the role.
Our song list for this production comes from the piano-vocal score published by G. Schirmer in 1912. New York critics mentioned two numbers not in the vocal score — "On the Day I Marry" and "The Up-to-Date Troubadour." They are not in our listing for the production as we don't know where they would have been performed.
