Previews were not every night. There were preview performances on the 16th and 18th, and it opened on the 19th.
"I Can Make You a Man" and "Eddie's Teddy" were added after the transfer to Classic Cinema.
When the show transferred to the Comedy Theatre, there were extensive changes.
- An intermission was added before "Touch-a, Touch-a, Touch-a, Touch Me".
- The set was redesigned to fit in a proscenium stage (the set strongly resembled the set from the film version). The previous venues had not been proscenium theatres.
- The show was restaged accordingly.
