Scheduled to open on Broadway on April 19, 1965 at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre (after previews from April 14). A second tryout stop at an unnamed theatre in Boston (from April 15 to May 1) was added and the Broadway opening was rescheduled to May 5. It was again delayed to May 10 before finally being cancelled altogether.
The show cost $450,000. When the Boston leg of the tryout was scheduled, an additional $45,000 had to be raised. Unfortunately, the money couldn't be raised and show folded in Detroit.
