After the Broadway closing, the Broadway production and cast played runs in Los Angeles and San Francisco as part of the Los Angeles and San Francisco Light Opera seasons.

Various sources list the number of Broadway previews as having been 13, but this seems to be based on the incorrect assumption that the full schedule of eight performances plus the opening night performance, which was on a Sunday, were played during the second week of previews. There was no performance on Thursday of that week so that the production would play eight performances including the Sunday opening-night performance.

Alternatively, it may be based on the assumption that two preview peformances, a matinee and an evening, were played on the first day of previews, which was Wednesay, December 31, 1975.
