The Avett Brothers is a folk rock band founded in 2000 in Concord, North Carolina.
Member of the band are Scott Avett (banjo, lead vocals, guitar, piano, kick-drum), Seth Avett (guitar, lead vocals, piano, hi-hat), Bob Crawford (double bass, electric bass, violin, backing vocals) and Joe Kwon (cello, backing vocals).
