Synopsis

After surviving a plane crash, a diplomat discovers an idyllic Himalayan monastery where time seems suspended and peace prevails. Pressured by the dying leader to take charge of this utopia, he must choose between leading a life of serene purpose or returning to the demands of the outside world. Torn between enlightenment and duty, he weighs the cost of paradise against the pull of civilization.
