Source

Based on the 1958 play Breath of Spring by Peter Coke, adapted by Joe Masteroff

Synopsis

A lively group of elderly residents at the Upper West Side’s Sussex Arms retirement hotel discover it’s being sold. Refusing to give up, they band together for a series of comedic fur heists to raise money and reclaim their home. Along the way, they rediscover youth, friendship, and joy—proving it’s never too late for adventure or to act with daring flair.

Trivia & History

Make Mine Mink was the film version of the play's stated source, A Breath of Spring.  70 Girls 70 used most of the plot elements from its source, but changed the location from the UK to America.
