The revival was a limited run, originally supposed to close on June 24, 2012. After the Tony wins, the run was extended to September.
In March 2012, the cast showed support for the family of Trayvon Martin, a high school student in Florida who was shot and killed. The cast was photographed on March 25, 2012 wearing hoodies, which became a symbol for support for the case.
