This concert version of Maggie at the 92nd Street Y’s Kaufmann Concert Hall comprised the first half of a concert by the "Y" Symphonic Workshop. The orchestra and chorus were conducted by Maurice Levine, who had conducted the Broadway production of the show. We have not been able to find out who played John Shand in the concert. James Broderick narrated in addition to playing James Wylie.
The second half of the concert featured Three Organ Preludes on the Chorale "In Dulci Jubilo" by Johann Sebastian Bach, transcribed for orchestra by Arthur Harris, and Lalo’s "Symphonie Espagnole," with Nathan Goldstein as the solo violinist.
