After its inital run at the Delacorte, this production toured the parks and playgrounds in all five New York City boroughs as part of the New York Shakespeare Festivals Mobile Theater. The locations were P.S. 41 in Manhattan (West Village); Cloves Lake Park in Staten Island; Van Cortlandt Park and St. Mary's Park in the Bronx; Crocheron Park in Bayside, Queens; St. Alban's Memorial Park in Flushing, Queens; and Prospect Park in Brooklyn.
After the closing of the last of the three productions that had been scheduled to play the Delacorte that season (The Tale of Cymbeline), Two Gentlemen returned there for more performances that hadn't originally been part of the schedule. We haven't yet found exact dates or the number of performances for the return engagement, but the return probably commenced on August 31, 1971.
