A Chorus Line

London Production (1976)

Trivia & History

The International Company moved from Toronto to London, where it played for six months. At that time, the International Company continued their tour in Baltimore and a new company was brought in for the remainder of the London run.

According to an interview with Alyce Gilbert in "The Longest Line," the Cassie dress was changed from its signature red to a cooler slate blue when actress Petra Sinawawski took over.  Siniwaski, who was a very fair-skinned red-head was washed out by the red dress, and Bennett, recalling that McKechnie wore a blue leotard during rehearsals, changed the color.  This is the only official production where Cassie has not worn red.
