This run followed a five-week run in Chicago. The sets were shipped from Chicago to London after the productio closed there on May 26, 1968, and the entire tour cast went to London. The London run was a limited engagement. The original closing date was to have been July 27, 1968, but it was extended an extra seven weeks.
Originally, the production was to have continued on to Israel, France and Russia on a tour sponsored by the State Department but this did not end up happening.
