Original Broadway Production (1973)
The production closed after seven previews that were played fom Monday, November 26 through Saturday, December 1, 1973. A Wednesday matinee was played that week but no Saturday matinee. The opening had been announced for Wednesday, December 5.
The list of musical numbers on our page for the production reflects what was in the playbill, but it may not accurately reflect what was seen by any audience. By the final performance, there was no intermission, several songs that were in the playbill's list of musical numbers were gone, and one song not in the list of musical numbers, ”Foggy Day,” was in the show. It may be that the show did not change in any notable way during the week of performances, and that all the differences between what was listed in the playbill and what was performed at the final performances were in place by the first preview.
